What I wouldn’t give for a green smoothie is something that I would rarely say. I absolutely love the juice and smoothie craze that has hit America for the last “X” amount of years, but I can’t seem to jump on the bandwagon.
You see I like to chew my food and that maybe the problem. I like flavor, texture, and to savor it not slurp it down in 5 minutes. I could have this all wrong; am I doing this right? I mixed my spinach, 1/2 banana, frozen fruit, and sometimes a little protein powder in the mix and I get a tasteless beverage. What am I doing wrong? Maybe I am just not a shake person.
Before the juice loving gods throw their lighting stick down out me let me say I know there are numerous benefits from juicing and some shakes like clearer skin, healthier digestive tract, reports of weight loss, and mental clarity, which is fantastic, but I can get that from other nutritional areas as well.
I am just saying that it’s not my thing. I would like to be a part of the trend, but I think I am tapping out to just having a juice or shake when I am craving it (like never). Is anyone with me on this?
